Magneto responsible for President JFK's death?

Did Magneto really kill the President in the movie?(Spoiler Alert!)

It has been said that the new X-men movie, Days of future past, will have something to do with the assassination of president John F. Kennedy.
It seems the film makers of the movie want to use the assassination of the president to be a part of the movie where the killer is suspected to be Magneto.
In this version, Erik Lehnsherr (aka: Magneto) is believed to have had control of the bullet fired by a gunman on a building, and made the bullet go through president Kennedy killing him on November 22, 1963, in Dallas.
Erik Lehnsherr was put on trial and evidence reveals a photograph taken by a photographer shows Erik Lehnsherr on the grassy lawn standing by the presidents moving car, with his hand pointed at the president the day of the impact.
Erik says that he was trying to stop the bullet at that moment, and that he knows who the real killer is and that she has a way of hiding in plain sight, so it would be very hard to find her.
